Google made a big deal about the trio of colours that was on offer for the Pixel smartphones when it launched last October, but the ‘Really Blue’ colour is still a pretty rare sight. This exclusive color has only been available in the U.S, until now!
This colour variant is now available in store from February 24th in the UK, exclusively with EE and Carphone Warehouse, and it’s a limited edition colour so it’s strictly “available until stocks last”.
So how much will it cost? At EE you can get the 32GB Really Blue Google Pixel for £46 ($57) per month with unlimited minutes and texts and 7GB of data. Meanwhile, the Pixel Xl in Really Blue is £51 ($63) per month with the same allowances. Both of these deals include a free Daydream VR Headset! Carphone Warehouse is yet to reveal its monthly pricing but the Google Pixel in Black is currently listed at £600 ($745), and the Pixel XL is listed at £720 ($894).
The Google Pixel and Pixel XL were unveiled at an event in San Francisco in October and both have Google Assistant built in. Both devices have a fingerprint sensor on the rear to improve accessibility. The smaller Pixel device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. Software is Android 7.1 Nougat and the battery is a 2,770mAh cell. The phone's dimensions are listed as 143.8 x 69.5 x 8.6 mm with a weight of 143g.
The larger XL boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset processor with 4GB RAM, and optional 32 or 128GB storage.
