Runway shows for next Spring/Summer menswear collections were crammed into three days, ending Monday June 19th. Top Milanese fashion designers demonstrated their Spring/Summer 2018 looks for celebrities from all over the world.
Weren't able to attend? Not to worry. We've got the fashion rundown from our top 2 designers at this year's Milan Fashion Week; Fendi and Armani.
Executive Elegance with Fendi
Silvia Venturini Fendi's menswear collections was light, summery and best expressed in transparent nylon jackets that defined Fendi's new executive work. Edgy printed jackets and collared shirts showed the Fendi man as down to business, whether in the city or by the pool.
"Lightness is our speciality," Fendi said backstage. "It was interesting to propose it on more classic looks, more traditional, with ties and clothing that I call a bit more executive, and create a contrast with the transparent jackets."
By contrast, Giorgio Armani's collection for Spring/Summer 2018 was all about a carefree mood, ready to hit the beach. There were silky combinations of aqua green and magenta top and bottom combinations, broken up by gray hoodies. This look definitely had a casual, laid back type of feel to it.
