Last month the folks at LG launched a new set of features for the LG G6 as well as a new phone- the LG G6 Plus.
Turns out, not much has changed with the new upgrade. It still features the same 5.86 x 2.83 x 0.31-inch frame housing the same extra-wide 5.7-inch display.
In fact, the only things that look to be changed on the newer device are the storage and the audio capabilities. Let's take a deeper look!
The internal storage size of the device called LG G6 Plus is 128GB. This will come in handy when the user starts to utilize their 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC for audio. The highest quality sound files will be needed to take full advantage, and they are just that.
When it comes to colour options, there's a choice between Optical Astro Black, Optical Marine Blue, and Optical Terra Gold.
There's currently no pricing or availability set on the G6 Plus, nor any further details on a U.S. launch date for the phone.
The LG G6 that’s already out on the market will get a software update this summer that adds a set of new feature abilities. These same abilities will be available on the LG G6 with 32GB internal storage and the LG G6 Plus. These features include a new Face Print screen unlock using the device’s front-facing camera, a Low Power Consumption mode, and a Covered Lens warning for the camera.
