5 things we love about the Galaxy S5

5 Hidden Galaxy S5 Features

When the Galaxy S5 was launched globally on April 11th, we were all made aware of its key features – but we weren’t informed about absolutely everything the device does.

Here are 5 hidden features Samsung listed after its launch!

1. Doodle on the screen with a regular pencil

There’s no specially designed pen or tool needed for doodling on a Galaxy S5. All you need to do is enable the “Increase Touch” setting and use a normal pencil.

2. Kids Mode

It’s becoming increasingly common for parents to hand their smartphones to their children to keep them quiet. The Galaxy S5’S Kids Mode prevents children from accessing or deleting files, and from making app store purchases, by turning itself in to a colorful child-friendly device.

3. Hide Personal Content with Private Mode

Access a private mode from the lock screen which allows you to keep sensitive pictures, videos and documents away from prying eyes.

4. Tilt the Phone for Suggested Tracks

Tilt your S5 whilst in the music player to be presented with a list of tracks similar to the one you’re currently listening to.

5. Unique Camera Features

We didn’t know that there’s a feature in the S5 camera app that allows you to take a series of pictures (of a new house for example) and blend them together in to a virtual tour!
