With all the hype of Apple's new iPhone X, it can be easy to forget about the predecessors. Well, that would be the case if the predecessors weren’t as great as the iPhone 6 Plus and 6S Plus still are today, almost 4 years later! Here’s why you shouldn’t forget about these phones just yet:
They're more affordable than the new iPhones: chances are, you already have this phone. So why upgrade? You can end up paying a pretty penny to upgrade your perfectly good iPhone 6 Plus or 6s Plus for the iPhone 8 Plus—a phone that has an almost identical shape and feel!
They look almost the same as a new iPhone 8 Plus, so, it won’t be obvious that you aren’t walking around with the newest device. And, the the aluminum back makes it the sturdier choice!
Rose Gold. Need we say more? Rose gold was a beautiful option that disappeared with the iPhone 8 and X.
The rear camera is still great, and allows you to capture crystal clear memories. The 6 Plus has an 8-megapixel camera, and the 6s Plus has a 12-megapixel camera (same as the iPhone 8 and X!)
And, last but definitely not least, the 6 Plus and 6s Plus are the last iPhones to include the headphone jack. For some, no headphone jack can be a dealbreaker. Plus, you can still use your wireless earphones with these devices. It’s a win-win!
